Pizza Burgers

My boys love pizza, if every other day would be a pizza day they would be very happy.
So today for lunch we combined two of their favorite foods pizza and burgers.
Everything taste better if has pizza in the name. We called it pizza burgers.
I'm sure there are many variation of the burgers out there but this our version.

Ingredients:
2 pounds chicken ground meat ( or turkey)
1/2 cup chopped onion
2 cloves garlic minced
1/2 cup pizza sauce ( or pasta sauce if you like it better)
2 cups breadcrumbs ( I used italian)
3 tbsp parsley chopped ( optional)
1 tbsp italian seasoning.
1 tsp vegetable soup mix ( like knorr or lipton) optional
salt and pepper to taste.

Place all ingredients in a large mixing bowl, mix until just combined ( do not over mix)

Form the burgers using a burger form or with your hands.

Place on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. You can place the burgers on top of each other with parchment paper in between. place in the fridge for 30 minutes.

Cook on a medium high heat on an oiled grill for about 8 minutes a side. The burger is ready when no longer pink inside or the internal temperature reaches 175˚F on an instant thermometer. If you don't have access to a grill the burgers can be cooked on a frying pan.

Serve on a bun with your favorite toppings.

Enjoy!
